Best Practice in Citizen Participation: Greater Manchester Legislative Theatre!
In 2022, the Greater Manchester Homelessness Prevention Strategy Legislative Theatre Initiative, led by the GM Jokers and the GMCA, won the 2022 Best Practice In Citizen Participation Award from the International Observatory on Participatory Democracy. Our project was were up against 121 amazing applicants from around the world, and we won! Our legislative theatre work has now been recognised as an international example of excellent participatory policymaking. We are all so proud and can't wait for what's next.
